In exercise of the powers conferred by section 164 of the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017 (12 of 2017), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, namely:-
1.
(1) These rules may be called the Central Goods and Services Tax (Seventh Amendment) Rules, 2018.
(2) They shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 12th day of June, 2018.
2.In the Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, –
(i) Rule 125 – Secretary to the Authority
(ii) Rule 129 – Initiation and conduct of proceedings
(iii) Rule 130 – Confidentiality of information
(iv) Rule 131 – Cooperation with other agencies or statutory authorities
(v) Rule 132 – Power to summon persons to give evidence and produce documents
