Tally Sales Integration – GSTR 1 Reconciliation

Using GSTZen’s Tally Sales Integration, you may now upload your sales invoices into GSTZen directly from Tally. You can then reconcile GSTR 1 with your invoices. This eliminates the need for both manual reconciliation and sales invoice upload through Excel. This makes GSTR 1 reconciliation all the more easier.

 Steps to upload your Tally Sales Register

You upload your sales register into GSTZen in 4 simple steps. Read on for more information on the steps:

1. Open the Tax payers dashboard and click on “Upload Sales Register” in upload your Invoices, Tally Integration section.
2. Or, You can also upload from tally from the below screen available in the Sales Register.
3. Choose the Tally Company -for step by step procedure, refer this Choose Tally Company – Tally Sales Invoice Upload
4. Select Voucher Type – for step by step procedure, refer this Choose Tally Voucher Type – Sales Invoice Upload
5. Set the Date Range for upload -for step by step procedure, refer this Choose Date Range and Upload Tally Vouchers
6. Verify and Save invoices into GSTZen

Once the invoice upload is successful, you can view these invoices in your GSTZen Sales Register.

System Requirements for Tally Integration

Please make sure that Tally is installed and running on your computer so that GSTZen can recognize your tally company. Here are the set of other prerequisites that will make certain that the Tally Integration works smoothly:

Set Tally Port

• Tally ERP 9
  • The tally server needs to run on Port 9000
  • Tally ERP 9 is action as needs to be set to Both
  • To configure tally server to Port 9000, follow the path Tally Main -> Company Info -> Configuration -> Advanced Configuration
• Tally Prime
  • The tally server needs to run on Port 9000
  • TallyPrime acts as should be set to Both
  • To configure tally server to Port 9000, follow the path Tally Main -> Help:F1 -> Settings -> Connectivity

GSTZen Agent

• Make sure that the latest GSTZen Agent is downloaded and running on your computer.
• Note: Your PC or anti virus might show that the application may be harmful. If, so add the application as an exception in your anti-virus settings.
• When the application is running, the icon will be shown in your task bar.

GSTZen Chrome Extension

• Please use Google Chrome browser for the Tally Integration to without glitches. GSTZen Chrome Extension is a tool that we use to communicate between Tally and GSTZen software. To install the extension, please visit – Google Chrome App Store
• Click on Add to Chrome
• Click on Add extension
