GSTR 1 is a monthly or quarterly return by the registered entity containing details of all outward supplies (sales). You can directly download the GSTR 1 in an Excel after downloading the data from the GST Portal into GSTZen by following the steps below-
Step 1: Click on the GSTIN for which you want to download the GSTR 1.
Step 2: Click on Download a report, then select GSTR 1 and the relevant period.
Step 3: Log into the GST Portal through OTP or Username and Password.
Step 4: Click on the check boxes for the data you want to download and click on Download from the Government Portal
Step 5: After successful download of the data from the Government Portal as indicated by the Green ticks, you can download either monthly or yearly report
