GSTN has opened up registration in the E-Invoicing portal for Taxpayers with over 5 crores turnover. This article explains how you can create an account in the E-Invoicing Portal.
Note - This link accesses the E-Invoice sandbox mainly for developers testing the E-Invoicing system. This portal is not where you will be creating E-Invoices.
Note - At present, the E-Invoice portal registration is available only for taxpayers with over 500 crores. The E-Invoicing portal will open up registration for taxpayers with lesser turnover shortly.
Note - The E-Invoice portal sends OTP to login to the registered Phone number and Email address.
Note - The Username and Password for the E-Invoicing portal is different from the credentials for Government portal and the E-Way bill portal.
Once you are successfully logged into the E-Invoice API Testing System, you may mainly access the:
- Public Key of the E-Invoicing system
- API end points to which you will make the URL request
- Sample Payloads
- Utilities to validate JSON
